Pal-O-Mine Equestrian is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning, and healing. Our population includes children and adults with disabilities, those who have been abused or neglected, the military and the economically compromised.
“And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently.
“And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.
“And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.”

Pal-O-Mine Equestrian has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it unfolds. All non-essential New York businesses have been closed for more than 3 weeks and in mid-March Governor Cuomo issued a stay at home order for all non-essential workers. This stay at home order has been extended through the end of April and New York schools are closed until further notice. Residents in neighboring states are under similar orders. On March 29th, President Trump offered federal guidance urging everyone nationwide to maintain social distancing measures through April 30th.
Considering these events, Pal-O-Mine’s Board of Directors has decided to cancel all lessons until the Executive Order has been lifted. All fundraising events have been temporarily postponed.
Revised dates for lessons, volunteer training, and special events are subject to change and will be posted on Pal-O-Mine’s website. We will continue to assess the situation daily and keep everyone posted as to when we can get back to the farm. Until then, we thank you for your constant support and prayers for continued good health.
