Islandia, NY — Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, which provides equine assisted therapeutic programs to children and adults with disabilities, at-risk youth, veterans, first responders, survivors of trauma and many others, is pleased to announce that it received a generous grant from longtime supporter the John Coggins III Foundation. The Foundation supports programs which focus on both mentally and physically preparing youth for a healthy adulthood. The donation will support Pal-O-Mine’s Scholarship Fund, which provides reduced-cost lessons for those who are in financial need.
“Scholarships are vital to allow equal access to our farm services,” said Lisa A. Gatti, Founder and CEO of Pal-O-Mine, located on a 13-acre property in Islandia, NY. “The generosity of our devoted donors is fundamental to our mission to provide life-changing programs using the power of the horse-human relationship. We are eternally grateful to our friends at the John Coggins III Foundation for bringing hope and healing to so many.”
