Islandia, NY — Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, which provides comprehensive equine assisted therapeutic programs for children and adults with disabilities, at-risk students, veterans and many others, announced that the Knapp/Swezey Foundation of Patchogue donated $15,000 for the care of the nonprofit’s 25 specially trained horses and other animals.
“Horses are the foundation of our therapeutic programs, and the Knapp/Swezey Foundation’s generous donation will go a long way toward providing our herd with the essential supplies and support they need to keep them healthy and well, including grain, hay, veterinary care and more,” said Lisa A. Gatti, Founder and CEO of Pal-O-Mine. “For more than a dozen years, the Foundation has supported our work, and we are profoundly grateful for their dedication to our mission and the Long Island community.”
