Islandia, NY — Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, in partnership with Living Blue, will host its annual Law Enforcement Family Fun Day on Sunday, August 9, from 11 am to 3 pm. This free event is dedicated to honoring the men and women of law enforcement by providing a day of fun, education and connection for officers and their families on Pal-O-Mine’s 13-acre farm in Islandia.
The event will offer activities designed for all ages, including riding demonstrations, miniature horse cart rides, horseshoe art, horse-themed games, educational seminars, a barbeque, and opportunities to interact with Pal-O-Mine’s specially trained horses and other small farm animals.
“Every day, law enforcement officers put the needs of others before their own, and this is our opportunity to give something back to them and their families,” said Lisa Gatti, Founder and CEO of Pal-O-Mine. “There’s something incredibly special that happens when people spend time with horses, who help us slow down, reconnect and simply be present. We hope this day gives these families a chance to laugh together, make lasting memories, and experience the comfort and healing that our horses and our beautiful farm have to offer.”
“Law enforcement is a career that demands a lot of both our officers and their families, who share in the sacrifices that come with keeping our communities safe,” said Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. “Events like this provide an opportunity for families to spend quality time together, recharge and connect with others who understand the unique challenges of this profession. Thank you to Pal-O-Mine Equestrian and Living Blue for hosting this event and their constant support of the law enforcement and first responder communities.”
The free event, which is exclusively for law enforcement families, will be held at Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, 829 Old Nichols Road in Islandia, just a few short minutes north of Exit 58 of the L.I.E.
Businesses and community partners are invited to support this meaningful event through sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorships help make the day possible while demonstrating a commitment to those who serve and protect our communities.
