Islandia, NY — For those whose family members served our country with courage and honor, nothing is more important than honoring those veterans by giving back to organizations that hold the same high regard for those servicemen and women.

Pal-O-Mine Equestrian was the grateful beneficiary of the generosity of Sons of AMVETS, part of AMVETS Post 48 in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. Gary Davis and Michael Bracciodieta, both Sons of AMVETS members, visited the nonprofit to present a $1,500 donation for Pal-O-Mine’s veteran’s programs.

“We channel our collective efforts towards meaningful causes that directly impact the lives of veterans and their families, and Pal-O-Mine offers unique programs that make a real difference in the lives of the veteran community,” said Bracciodieta. “We take pride in our unwavering commitment to raising funds for veteran initiatives that go beyond borders, reaching into the heart of our community to create lasting change.”

David added, “The grounds were beautifully maintained, the organization was well run, and every staff member we spoke to greeted us with kindness, respect and professionalism. It is clear that Pal-O-Mine makes a tremendous difference not just for veterans, but for people of all walks of life.”

“We are truly grateful for the ongoing support of Sons of AMVETS,” said Lisa A. Gatti, Founder and CEO of Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, which provides a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing for veterans, active military, first responders, children and adults with disabilities and others at the organization’s 13-acre farm. “Their dedication to our work with veterans has transformed lives.”
